We've had a couple good reports from the West Walker this past week, the water temps are a bit warmer than a few weeks ago and the fish seem to be more active. The best area seems to be down near the town of Walker, the flows aren't too high and the water clarity is good. Nymphing and streamer fishing has been the best lately. Patterns to try include: wooly buggers, zuddler, prince nymph, pheasant tail, hare's ear, zug bug.
