Water temperature is in the high 40s and fishing is best mid-morning and late afternoon. Action is very good for both fly and bait anglers. Bank anglers go to Mallard Cove, north of the buoy near the dam and Fairview and use Power Bait or nightcrawlers. Fly fishers fish from the Camp Five Boat Ramp to Cow Creek and in Mosquito. J Fair wiggle tails, wooly buggers, snails and scuds are productive patterns. (530) 832-0270
