Black bass Are Active in The Backs of Coves

Anglers fishing in the early morning hours are being rewarded with rainbow trout and striped bass at Willow Beach. Rainbows larger than 4 pounds have taken spinners and night crawlers fished from shore. Striped bass anglers are catching fish with trout swimbaits on a slow troll. Further south, black bass are active in the backs of coves. Anglers are having success with a variety of spinners, tubes, and jigs.
