The cold weather and a plant of 1,750 pounds of trout last week has turned on the fishing. Another ton is going in this week. Henry Yamaoka of Gilroy caught the big fish of the week, a 12-pound, 10-ounce trout. Right behind that catch was Domingo Sarmiento of Union City, who caught a 10-11 trout. Kiosk Cove is the best spot and Power Bait or small lures work well. 510-795-4883.
