High flows on the Lower Owens means there are better places to fish at this time

Water Conditions: Poor the flows are at 504 cfs as of 7/6.

Fishing Conditions and Hatches: With the flows up over 500cfs now it's probably not a bad idea to fish somewhere else, or go down below bishop to where the river is wider with no banks. Wet wading in the slow water must be nice when the temps are in the 90's and 100's! Just be careful.
