Check the flows before you go. Air temps around Bridgeport are getting warm so the key is to fish early and quit when the water temperatures get in the high 60 degree range, usually around lunch time. The Truckee River continues to produce fish from the town of Truckee down through Reno. California - Water is being released out of Lake Tahoe now and the flows in the upper river are up. The fishing from Truckee to the state line has remained fairly consistent. In the mornings, nymphing with golden stone nymphs or crayfish patterns with a smaller dropper like a size 16 caddis or little yellow stone has been effective. Fish the seams near faster, deeper water......
