Lake had some muddy water in the south end but it is clearing. Water temp is 49 degrees in the shady areas and 51 degrees on the main body. Nightcrawlers, Senkos, RoboWorms get trout and smallmouth. Fishing is rated as good. Big fish of the week was a 13.2 pound trout caught by Joe Salenga of San Jose, who was using a spinner at the East Beach. Daniel Lopez of San Jose nailed an 11.9 pounder at the East Beach with a nightcrawler. Nick Q. caught a 10.9 pound trout with Power Bait near the Marina. (925) 449-5201
