Stripers have returned with a vengance. I personally witnessed a very short boil near the moored Marina in Half Moon Bay.We have also received reports of anglers catching multiple large stripers off the point near Half Moon Bay. Using top water lures like Poppers have proven sucessful. Also using swim baits, crank baits, or anything that doesn't dive too deep should give you some great opportunites for Stripers. If you are wondering where to go, just follow the birds. A large flock of birds, especially seagulls, is usually an indicator of baitfish being close to the surface. Mostofthetime whe baitfishes are at the surface, there is a much larger fish below. Stripers are striking near the surface but for Catfish and Black Bass going deeper is the key.I Jim's Pro Bass (805) 237-0549, Lake San Antonio Marina (805) 472-2818
