Almanor Lake Fish Report

Lake Almanor - CA (Plumas County)

by Nor Cal Fish Reports
8-27-2014

Surface temps are 69 degrees in the morning and slowly climbing near 72 degrees by midday. Fishing pressure has been light. There are still trout in the Hamilton Branch. The trolling bite has been just ok while the suspended baits and jigging bite continue to be the top producers of quality fish. Trolling lanes in some of the well know spots like Rocky Point Canyon Dam, Big Springs, A-Frame, are reporting a few decent fish, however guys are fishing longer and working harder for them. But really the best fish this week came off suspended baits, and jigs. Doug Neal: (530) 258-6732 http://www.almanorfishingadventures.com
