Water temperature in the morning is 74 degrees. Kokanee have turned red. Anglers get small kokanee that are next year’s class of fish. Some king salmon are near the dam. This may be the last viable week of fishing. Trout bite is decent. Bass are feeding on small shad, half the size of usual size. Guide Don Paganelli on last week’s trip caught 15 to 20 largemouth and spots spooning from the surface to 30 feet deep. Best fish weigh three pounds. Don Paganelli (916) 502-3474; Troy Barr (707) 372-7599. www.Fisht-roy.com
