Kokanee and king salmon are on the bite.  This week’s outings proved to be very productive for both.  The chinooks are 80 to 100 feet deep and most weighed 2-1/2 to 4 pounds.  However, we did hook 3 larger fish in the 5 pound class that gave my clients a little more than they could handle.  We found most of our kings lurking around the house boat in Temperance Bay and the spillway area.  We rolled shad injected with Pro Cure scent.   From mid morning on we focused solely on Kokanee.  The red hot kokes are averaging 14 to 16 1/2 inches with wide shoulders.  Vance's nickel dodger and Uncle Larry's exciting new UV colors sealed the deal.  Pro Cures bloody tuna and fresh water shrimp were our two corn scents.  The feisty salmon are holding on structure 40 to 60 feet deep in the main lake area.  Lake surface temperatures 77 degrees.  Bruce Hamby (209) 599-2023 Sierra Sportfishing Bruce@sierrsportfishing.comBait Barn (209) 874-3011, (209) 586-2383
