The strong striper bite continues. Although we had two days of only four fish per day our weekly average remains the same.  We did see a increase in size, with more fish in the six pound class.  Dan and Melanie Lewis of Glory Hole Sports Shop in Angels Camp, along with a friend Terry Weaver of Hawaii jumped aboard for a fun day of fishing.  The trio hooked 11 fish boating eight.  Melanie's was the "Big" fish winner with a seven pounder.  Most of our fish are holding in the main lake area, down 15 to 30 feet.  We have been experimenting with lures with no consistency.  Rolling shad, anchovies and herring laced with Pro Cure scent has been the most productive.  Water temperature is 81.7 by mid day.  Water conditions are excellent!
