Frenchman's can also be worth a try. There have been some reports of fish being caught in 12-24 feet of water with Chironomids. Snail patterns fished with a type 3 to 5 sinking line is always a good bet at Frenchman's in the summer. The key is to find how deep the fish are and keep your flies in that zone as long as possible. There are many ways to pull this off including using a fast sinking line, heavy flies or a "DCA" to keep your flies in the zone.
