A Change in the Weather Causes the Fish in the Truckee to Turn On

Sometimes, all it takes is some overcast skies to get big fish to turn on. Susan got this big brown (look at the smile on her face) yesterday across the border on the Truckee River. He ate my #16 baetis emerger, or soft hackle. Todd, her husband, lost one as big, just couldn't chase it downstream. He then went back to the same spot and hooked another one, only to have the line wrap up on his zinger, and pop. I know it was a long drive home Todd, but we'll get 'em again.
