We wish we had some good news for you. Unfortunately, with regards to the fishing at Pyramid this week, we don’t. The fishing out here remains poor, to put it nicely. If you are very tuned in to this lake, and have some of the subtle nuances dialed in, then yes, you will find a few fish. But that should say something. This is normally considered the best time of year to be out here, but that is not the case this year. If heading out to Pyramid, try and do so on stormy days, such as this weekend. If you find yourself heading out during calmer days, try bringing out a float tube out and fish deeper water. We remain hopeful for a post-spawn bite at the end of the month or early May.
