Slow morning at stampede today with nothing but dink next years kokanee. Then Bam!!! A quad then 2 doubles while I’m trying to get on the phone to do my weekly radio spot with California Sportsmen Radio Show. Ended up doing my segment with no lines in the water but didn’t matter because 5 limits before 10am with almost a full moon is a great day!! Fished deep at 70’-95’ otw in open water. Paulina Peak Tackle CottonCandy and Pink Lemonade hoochies were tops. 2 lefty’s today and for the first time ever, the fish preferred the left handed reels!!! Can’t explain it. Exactly same setups on both lefties and righties. Maybe they had their left shoes tied in a double knot. Makes a difference. Lol
Couple days off then back at it Tuesday.
