California - Fly fishing has been outstanding from the Town of Truckee to the state line. Flows are 165 in the section from Truckee to Boca Bridge. There has been a pmd hatch on most days mid morning and a strong caddis hatch in the evenings. There have also been a few green drakes hatching on cloudy days. Flows are between 500 cfs and 650 cfs from the Boca Bridge down to the state line. Green Drakes have been popping over the past week and the fishing has been outstanding. Green drake nymphs fished under an indicator has been catching some really big fish.

Nevada - Flows are 530 in Mogul and 450 through Reno. It could not be more perfect. The cooler air temps over the past few weeks has helped make the fishing awesome. All of the parks have been stocked and there are plenty of fish in the river to catch. There have been caddis, little yellow stones and green drakes hatching most evenings just before dark. During the day nymphing with Burk\\\\\\\'s green drake nymph and a smaller bead head dropper under an indicator. Guide Chris Evison had clients catch numerous fish on the surface over the past week just West of Reno.
