The warm weather has pushed water temperatures into the 50's and consequently the spawning fish are in the shallow water as well. Reports this week were much improved. The fish are not in Pelican Bay as in the past two years. Anglers fishing remote beaches are having the best reports. Try 9 mile beach, Sandhole, Popcorn and Monument. Floating lines with indicators and maholo midges, snow cones and mahalo nymphs primarily in red or black work well. Sinking......
