Water Conditions:

Flows have decreased to 101 cfs as of 3/3 which is perfect. Water temps starting in the high 40's then g oing to the low 50's in the afternoons. Air temps are in the 50-60's range and pushing 70 some days! Intermittant rain through the3/7 weekend.

Fishing Conditions and Hatches: Good

Fish are deep, especially early, and the bite window is from about 9 am to 4 pm. They feed hard midday and an hour and a half of dry hatches is typical.

Recommended Flies:

-NYMPHS
#18-20 WD-40 in Black or Grey, #18-20 Zebra Midge, #18 Copper John in Green or Black, #18 Pheasant Tail, #16 Prince Nymph and #14-16 Hare??s Ear.

-DRIES
#16-18 Hatchmaster BWO, #16-18 Hi-Vis BWO and #18-24 Parachute Adams.

Guides Hint: I know the recommendations haven't change in 8 weeks. If it works don't fix it. On warmer days, the average angler that leaves the store is returning 3-4 hours later with 9-12 fish landed, one over 19 inches, a t Upper O, Hot Creek, and Lower O with the Res a close second. The quality of the fishing this Winter has been uncanny.
