Stripers and Catfish are still biting very well off of frozen baits throughout the coves along the lake and the canal by the entrance booth. Sardines and lug worms have been working best for stripers, fishing down deep using sinkers or split shot. Anglers have had good luck using chicken liver, anchovies, and cut mackerel for catfish towards the back of the lake. Bass are also biting pretty well down deep off of jigs and plastics. Anglers are still catching trout off of worms and power bait throughout the lake, we are still expecting another trout plant soon.
