The flows are 190 cfs. This is perfect for this time of year. Fish have been eating Baetis and Midges all day. There has been some pressure on the Little Truckee because the Main river has been high. Look for the fishing to remain really good here for some time to come.

The flows have come back down to fishable levels due to cooler weather. There have been phenomenal Baetis hatches on cloudy days. Otherwise, nymphing with stones or czech nymphs with a baetis imitation or Copper John as a dropper works well. The river will fluctuate as temperatures warm for the next couple of weeks.
