The river flows are at 5,000 CFS and stable as of now. Look to see them drop again this month as they throttle Keswick down to its targeted winter flows in late December. While the salmon haven’t appeared in any numbers this season, the river continues to fish well. Trout are in and amongst the few salmon redds you do find. However, unlike years past, we are finding fish in all the usual locations chomping on mayflies, some caddis and stoneflies. Don't despair, the late fall chinook run are arriving keeping our hopes alive, so don't ditch that egg pattern just yet.
