Normally some wind is good for Pyramid Lake but not when your out on your tubes, or in a boat trying to target the fishing in the deeper water. Still fish were caught, but it wasn’t as good as the last few openers for the majority of anglers. Sure, some shore guys caught some stranglers cruising through, but the fish are still out farther. This week should be good if your out on a boat or tube. The fish should push in closer to the beaches when the water temps get lower. Usually that is around Halloween week, maybe sooner.
