Sacramento Delta

Striper fishing remains very good for those fishing from the pier. Fresh shad, frozen sardines or bluegill get stripers to 36 inches. Boaters go to Broad Slough, Sherman Lake and Dutch Slough. There also is action in front of Eddo’s. Jumbo minnows also will work. Sturgeon are starting to show for those using eel/pile worms or frozen ghost shrimp/pile worms. Largemouth bass bite in Big Break. Large and jumbo minnows work well. Panfish are plentiful in the standard spots. Catfish bite has slowed. Gotcha Bait & Tackle (925) 706-7400
